Product Description
Built for riders who live in the terrain park, the Studio 1 pairs a poplar/ash core with carbon stringers to deliver lightweight snap without sacrificing landing stability. A perfectly symmetrical twin shape makes switch skiing feel as natural as forward, while the Studio Stance mounting point puts the pivot exactly where freestyle skiing demands it. For park-focused skiers who want a responsive, durable platform for rails, jumps and everything in between.
Product Details
| Core | Poplar / Ash Core: a mix of poplar softwood and ash hardwood. Poplar flexes and pops with excellent vibration absorption; ash adds stiffness and durability. Together they provide solid edge hold on hard snow, a reliable base for stomping landings, and enough pop and flex to get creative. |
| Carbon Stringers | Between 8 and 12 unidirectional carbon bands woven on each side of the core into the fiberglass layers, running the full length of the ski. Adds torsional rigidity and stability without extra weight. |
| Edges | XL 2.5MM Edges: steel edges 2.5 mm thick, 25% heavier than standard 2.0 mm edges, for greater impact resistance and extended lifespan. |
| Stomp Pad | Carbon/Rubber Stomp Pad: a 600 mm x 15 mm reinforcement strip positioned under the binding area, above the edge. Protects the core on rail impacts; the carbon and rubber combination adds stability and vibration absorption underfoot. |
| Sidewall | Full Strength Sidewall: protective material running along both sides of the core between the edge and the topsheet. Improves edge hold and turn stability, and shields the core, edges, and topsheet from impacts. |
| Shape | Symmetrical Twin Tip: perfectly symmetrical tip and tail geometry, optimized for switch skiing in the park and halfpipe. |
| Flex Pattern | Mustache Flex: progressive flex with stable zones in front of and behind the binding (edge hold) and progressive flex at tip and tail (bump and debris absorption). Facilitates turn initiation and completion. |
| Mounting | Studio Stance: the narrowest point of the ski equals the center of the sidecut radius, placing the pivot point exactly where freestyle skiing is most intuitive. Also suited for carving and popping. In 26/27, the reference mark moves from topsheet to sidewall for a cleaner single reference point. |
| Topsheet | Matte finish. |
| Drill | 4.1 x 9 mm |
